QWERTY / DVORAK / Look at your keyboard. See the word "Qwerty?" It's the first six letters in the first row. Most people learn to type on a Qwerty keyboard; that's what I used in typing class. Twenty manual typewriters clacking away all at once causes more noise pollution than all the jet engines in the world. Well, another keyboard layout is available which allows for much speedier typing than your average Qwerty. Those keyboards are known as Dvoraks. On a Dvorak keyboard, the most common letters are placed in the middle row. I'm a pretty fast typist myself, but then... I've had lots of practice. Ya know, they say an infinite number of typing geeks can write all the works of Shakespeare in binary. 00100101!
